This adapter is perfect for attaching an M-42 lens to a Canon R camera. The build quality is excellent. It fits perfectly on the camera. The adapter can also be rotated using the enclosed tool so that the lens can be positioned correctly.

The adapter works as expected. I was able to fit an old Pentax Lens to my Canon R5. The fit of the Pentax lens was tight, so I had to turn it with a bit more force than expected until it locked in. After overcoming my initial hesitation, it was no problem to connect the lens to the camera.

Filter built is decent and also quality seems fine, but there are 2 things you should consider before buy (I did not and I regret it): 1/ filter end is bigger than filter thread, so you cannot use original lens cap from the lens (so everytime you have to remove filter for safety, loosing time and flexibility) 2/ thanks to bigger diameter of the filter and extra knobs for changing ND, you cannot attach the lens hood, which I did not realized and probably will need to buy another NDs...

Feels incredibly solid with its metal construction. Mounting the lens to the adapter and the adapter to my camera felt really smooth. Really didn't expect this level of quality from such a cheap adapter!

It's good for my kit lens.

not practical when you have lens

Works perfectly on my GH3 with an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic lensOf course because of the adapter and the mirorless camera format, the originally normal is now more of a zoom lens, but that is a known fact.Biggest problem with all adapters is that most times the lens, or the part that hooks on the camera are badly made so you end up with an item stuck on your camera and you end up cutting the piece off (happened to a friend). This one fits perfectly for both the lens and the camera which was great.I am now testing if small issues on photos taken have to do with the adapter. Will update the review if I find something amiss. But for now all seem in order.
